I think he meant like he wanted one more night of no changes, and just that he wanted everything to stay the same for him for just at least one more night. I guess he didn't want any changes in his life.

Focus Question #1
In the book,"Guests", the main character Moss didn't want things to change. When Moss said, "I wished for just one more night before things began to change." I believe, that what he said meant that he doesn't want anything to change, and he wants it all to be normal, like any other feast before this one. Moss wants to be able to joke around, and tease his family without getting a bad impression on the guests. But, will he get his wish?

He wished that he was able to have a little more time to relax and do what he wanted before the guests came. He wants to just wants a little bit of time because one more night, he would enjoy having a little more time to prepair.

Moss said that because he wanted things to stay the same. Or for at least one night.

Moss meant that he wished that he had one more night to be himself and for his family to have one more night to be themselves before the guests arrived so they could enjoy their big feast with themselves and no one else.

When Moss said "I wished for just one more night before things began to change" I think he was talking about the bell and he wished for one more night to tell them that he broke the belt and he just wanted one more night.
That's a good thought! I never thought about that!

Moss ment that the guests shouldn't come and ruin the Indians fun until after the big thanksgiving feast, Moss doesn't want the guests to come so bad he said that he would leave if the guests come.

What I think moss meant when he said,I wish for just one more night,I think he wished for one more night so he would have more time to convince his father to tell the guests not to come.an I think if moss could not convince his father to call it off, that moss would pack up his stuff an run away an never return.

Moss meant that he wanted at least one more night of doing what he wanted, like having another feast before the 'white men' came. He's probably nervous that they might come and change their tradition or hog up all of the food.Because of that, he said that he wanted to run away.

He wanted the guest to not come. Because he wanted this years Thanksgiving to be like other years when they didn't have guest to come. Moss things that everyone would be quiet and just eat without having fun.

I think he wants to do there tradition that way he can get a good story for the belt and do the belt. Then the guests could come and eat like they planed
I think that it means that he wanted another day to just relax and calm down so he isn't in a bad mood when the " guests " come. I also think by change he means that maybe the " guests " might change things like they did in Encounter. ( the book ) I also think that the " guests " come be the pilgrims because it said the first thanksgiving is coming up. You can kind of tell the little boy is stubborn because of the bead incident and because of the " guests " coming. If I was the boy I wouldn't really want strangers to intrude and come eat with my family and I because I wouldn't know them at all like the little boy.

Moss means that he doesn't want the "guests" to come and that he could have one more day without them at their "thanksgiving day feast". I can tell that Moss doesn't like change in tradition, and wants this feast to be like all the other ones since he was born, he wants it to be fun and have a good time with his people.

Moss said that because he doesn't want any visitors to come to their feast. Because they won't be able to have fun because the visitors are there. And Moss is really mad at that
